The first time I saw a blog talking about this collaboration, Reebok selected this new fashion designer and label called Pyer Moss.
Pyer Moss was founded in 2013 by Kerby Jean-Raymond. Jean-Raymond describes the brand as an “art project” or “a timely social experiment” at times.
Pyer Moss aims to use its voice and platform to challenge social narratives and evoke dialogue. His design was a completely new idea, redefining the old classic DMX model.
The first releases sold out quickly and I wasn’t able to get them anywhere. I waited for a restock and found them for a deal in Spain.
The box design was unique and new. The regular release came in a brown Rebook box.
The design for the shoe has many different ways you can customize it such as different ways to lace them up. They also came with 2 different color shoelaces.
The designer left a very special message. I appreciate small details like this.
I think the shoes are worth getting. People will definitely take notice.
I’m always looking for a great deal on food and one of the best times to get more bang for your buck is during Magical Dining Month. Participating restaurants offer a three-course prix-fixe meal for $35. It’s a great time to try that restaurant you’ve heard so much about.
We went to a Brazilian Steakhouse called Fogo de Chão.
Thanks Eric, Jody, and Queena for joining me on this great lunch.
Behind Queena is the wine room.
The salad bar offers a great selection.
Brazilian Cheese Bread (Pao de Queijo) is brought out. It’s so hard not to fill up on it.
Dessert is included the deal.
Thanks so much to the city of Orlando for having this awesome annual event. I can’t wait to check out more spots!
Nike Sportswear has been celebrating the Rio Olympics by releasing special edition features. A plethora of both new and iconic USA-themed running models pave the way for more Gold Medal wins.
Today, we see the return of “Liquid Metal” look with new NIKEiD options on the Nike Air Force 1 and Nike Air Max 90.
I decided to get the AF 1high top. I was so excited for my first customized AF1 by nike.
The box looked more square, compared to the regular AF 1 box.
The side has NikeiD on it.
The customizable option has flags from many different countries.
On the back, you can pick your own text or letter to personalize it.
The Liquid Metal looks awesome! I was going to get the silver one for my 2nd option, but the sole has option the lunar sole option but will cost more.
Overall, the price is little higher but has a lot of cool personalization options.
We always love seeing models take part in showing off vinyl toy designs by artists so here we have Honeysoyummy with the Gold and Silver Spiki along with the Kidrobot x Maihiro Spiki tee!
What makes this #womancrushwednesday especially exciting is the fact that everything here was during our first collaboration with Kidrobot.
Thank you to Eric for inviting me to Queena’s birthday lunch at A Land Remembered, which is one of my favorite steakhouses.
Here’s the birthday girl.
Their gator-shaped butter is so cool!
We started with the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake for an appetizer. The size and quality of the crab meat was amazing. The dish also cane with Scallion Aioli and Red Chili Pepper Glaze.
We also ordered the Ahi Tuna. It was Herb-Crusted and came with Napa Slaw, Chili Pepper Citrus Vinaigrette, and Avocado Relish.
Here is the Glenda Free-Range Chicken.
And the 16 oz New York Strip with Peppercorn Rub. It was huge but definitely worth it. Every bite melts in your mouth.
For dessert, the Banana Sphere was awesome with the presentation on point.
Happy Birthday, Queens! I really enjoyed having lunch with you and Eric. Until next time!
There was a big announcement from their annual Democratic Design Days. The project celebrated student life and work life with the soon-to-come playful FÖRNYAD collection.
IKEA teamed up with Sarah Andelman, Creative Director of Colette (a Parisian concept store). I personally received an email from her, several years ago, when I was curating the Funny Club Show.
One of the coolest things is that they added designer, Craig Redman, who’s known for his egg-shaped character, Darcel Disappoints. I love his characters so much. He’s an icon for fashion and design.
Here’s the display at our local IKEA store, near the entrance.
If you already have the KLIPPAN loveseat, you can get this Förnyad multi-colored cover ($59.00) for it.
I love the patterns and colors.
They also have the Box ($7.99), set of 3, to store pencils and other school supplies. They came in black and blue.
The black backpack ($24.99) is customizable and allows you to add fabric patches that come in a set of 4 assorted patterns ($5.99).
There was also a blue table ($129.00), a side table on casters ($99.00), and a stool ($49.00) available for purchase.
As well as a 4-piece dinnerware set ($14.99).
A 4-piece desk set ($7.99).
A LED work lamp with wireless charging in blue and white ($59.99).
One of my favorite pieces from the collection was the large size character rug with Darcel Disappoints on it.
“The pattern is fun with elements from my favorite park in Paris, it reminds me of the good times I have when I visit the city.” – Darcel, Designer
The FÖRNYAD rug in black ($89.00).
The artwork was not for sale.
The main reason I came for this collection was for the Darcel Disappoints plush toy ($6.99).
The displays showed that most of the pieces were still available.
I couldn’t wait to display this little guy at home with the rest of my plush toys.
Thank you to my wife and daughter for coming with me so that I could see the collection.
Be sure to check out the IKEA website for more information:
I spent a 2 week tour in Indonesia, from Jakarta to Surabaya to Bali. I was so happy this trip came out the way I expected. Thanks so much to my friends for coming out to support me and making this trip go so smoothly.
This year everything, was packed and busy, doing a lot of speaking events.
Traffic was so backed up all the time.
Before I left, I tried to capture everything from the city so I can remember these moments.
Thanks Josh for having me try the local ba ku ta.
It wasn’t bad at all. I really want to try the one from Singapore and Malaysia. I hear they have their own versions.
A quick home made snack from Natasha.
I really enjoy visiting Indonesia. Everyone is so friendly and the food is awesome.
Every time I visit Jakarta, I love to stop by the mall to shop.
The mall is like a theme park, with full entertainment. Everything from a luxury restaurant to a movie theater and a kid’s playground.
The mall even comes up with creative themes for each month.
The Pacific Place is always dedicated to showcasing Indonesian artists and supporting their artwork by having their installations around the mall.
In conjunction with Bazaar Art Jakarta 2015, Mall Art featured art installations by Love Tank or The Temple by S. Teddy Darmawan. It stood high and tall at the main atrium and became the highlight of the art month.
The installation was built by stacking seven military tanks and covering them in pink lotus-shaped camouflage.
The installation used Multiplex, Resin, Metal Structure Approx. 200 x 500 x 650 cm Tanks. His work also sent out a message of love and peace through East meets West symbolism.
Artist, S. Teddy Darmawan, was born in Padang in 1970 and graduated from the Indonesia Institute of Arts, Fine Arts Department, Yogyakarta. He was an Artist in Residence in Aachen, Germany and was selected for the best five of Phillip Morris Awards 2001 (Indonesia).
I highly recommend checking out Pacific Place. It’s really amazing.

I want to thank Lester for sharing his experience after attending the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland.I was so excited when I saw his IG stories, showing the grand opening.
The brochure for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is definitely a collectible.
Lester with his family.
Smile! You’re on camera.
Lester is ready to get this thing started!
According to Lester, the way things were set up is that they had 4 hour slots where you could pick a time to go on the ride or eat at the restaurant.
The longest wait was to get a custom lightsaber. The customization is super detailed so I’m sure The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will be the most sought after item.
Lester with his wife, Lene / @lenejenius, and special guest, space slug (aka Exogorth).
The Millennium Falcon was huge!
They even had droid garbage cans.
Disney definitely didn’t skimp on any of the details.
This is the view from on top of The Millennium Falcon.
It’s just like in the movie.
Lester also had the opportunity to check out the food selection.
There was blue and green milk! The blue milk was found at the Black Spire Outpost Market.
Lester said the blue milk tasted like a slushee.
They also picked up the MSE-6 Series Repair Droid Popcorn Bucket. I hear it retails at $19.99.
The food at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo looked really good!
Yobshrimp Noodle Salad – chilled shrimp served with noodles, vegetables and sweet orange dressing, plus small lowfat milk or small bottled water ($10.99).
