The Boheme Restaurant – Orlando, Florida
Today started off great! My new sneakers arrived at my front door — the Adidas SOLAR HU Glide design from my favorite artist and producer, Pharrell Williams.
The shoes are amazing! I can’t wait to start my review soon.
Today, I’m also on the way to meet with Andy for my 2nd Magical Dining this year. The Boheme Restaurant in Downtown Orlando was one of my top choices. Let’s go!
The restaurant is located in the very first building on the corner.
Here’s the entrance. If you valet your car, they will lead you in from the back entrance.
The interior of the restaurant was nice and very modern. The hotel concept is like an art gallery, surrounding you with many cool art pieces.
We had a reservation for 5:45pm but they sat us 15 minutes early. The place was very busy.
They offer you the menu for Magical Dining Month, as well as their regular menu in case you want to order anything else.
Our server was very nice and friendly. The service was great. We started with appetizers. We ordered the Kessler Seafood Cake which had lobster, crab, salmon, and organic arugula with tarragon citrus aioli.
We also ordered the Escargots de Bourgogne. It was baked in garlic parsley butter served in a traditional vessel with a French baguette. This was so good compared to escargot I had at Chef de France in Epcot. The flavor was better and I loved the caramelized top.
There were 4 different Choice of entrees to choose from, making it difficult to choose because they all sounded so good. I went with the Grilled Pork Chop which had roasted heirloom carrots, dijon and shallots, pan sauce smashed fingerling potatoes with herbs and lemon salt. The meat not too dry or hard and had really great flavor and sauce.
Andy chose the Beef Tenderloin with Bohemian spice, brocolini, truffle pomme puree, and Café de Paris butter sauce. He said it was way better than kobe beef.
Thanks for sharing, Andy.
I don’t really eat a lot of sugar but for dessert, I ordered the Blueberry Mascarpone Cheesecake with fresh berries and graham cracker crust. It was delicious and the fruit was very fresh.
We also tried the Pineapple Gelato with Reposado Tequila, torn garden mint, and coconut crisp. This was also really good!
Overall, this place was amazing. From the art gallery and many art installations, to the food. I would definitely recommend walking around after you finish eating, to walk off all the delicious food, and to check out some cool art and paintings.
A little tip — for Magically Dining Month, they offer free valet and parking $8/hour. Make sure to call them before you go.
I know I’ll be back next year. It was definitely worth the money.
